About the Artists:
Andrew K is a self-taught artist based in Brisbane, Australia. He creates vibrant and expressive paintings that explore the beauty and diversity of people and nature. Inspired by the colours and shapes of the natural world, as well as the stories and emotions of the human experience. Social and environmental issues feature strongly. Oil paint with touches of charcoal and pastels capture the mood, movement, and texture of Andrew’s subjects. His paintings are a reflection of his passion for life, his hopes and fears and the stories he hopes connect with others.
Bel Parsons is a Queensland, Australia-based abstract impressionist artist whose work resonates with expressive energy and emotional depth. Her diverse range of artworks span across vibrant colour palettes and varied styles, reflecting an intuitive practice. Influenced by the principles of abstract expressionism, Bel’s work often balances between structured composition and a liberated, gestural approach. Her use of colour and contrast is particularly evocative, ranging from monochromatic simplicity to serene pastels and bold, vibrant hues that convey a spectrum of emotions and experiences.
